{ { { SERIES } } } My eBay Obsessions
Yet another Panhead. Like I said, this was my "gotta have a pan" phase. This was one of my first exposures to Jeremiah Armenta of Love Cycles fame. He builds some of the most amazing bikes ever. Apparently, this was also everybody else's "gotta have a pan" phase, 'cause this thing went about 4 grand over what I bid.

{ { { SERIES } } } My eBay Obsessions
Yet another of my many failed attempts at buying a Panhead. This thing is still, in my very humble opinion, one of the best looking motorcycles in recent years. Gorgeous. I bid on it, got in the game just toward the end like a good eBayer should, and...wait for it...
...the bidding shot beyond my budget at a blindingly fast pace and I didn't "win the item".

The Pan that inspired my swingarm Shovel...
There are still pictures of it hanging on my "Inspiration Wall". Gray Mitchell's 1960 (I think) Panhead. He did a beautiful job on this bike and asnwered some of my very stupid questions. Thanks, man.
Did you notice the dude can take a cool picture, too?

So, I'm talking with Otto and I get going on Captain Blaster's '59 Pan
Low and behold, Otto had met the man whilst jet setting in Italy. They again crossed paths in Japan at the Mooneyes Show. Otto tells me that Captain Blaster is good people, mellow and enjoys good food. Nice things to hear for sure. Anyhow, the Panhead is beautiful and has been one of my favorites since the day I saw it. Spaghetti stripes I think he called 'em.
